We are a small team on purpose. Here is who does what, so you can ask for the right chair.

Owner · Colour
Sixteen years behind the chair, nine of them in Dallas. Priya opened the studio in 2018 after a decade downtown and spends most of her week on lived-in colour and colour correction. She teaches a balayage class twice a year and still takes new guests on Wednesdays.
Best for: balayage, blondes, correction work

Senior Stylist · Curls
Wren cuts curly and wavy hair dry, curl by curl, and has the quietest chair in the room. She came to us from New Orleans in 2020 and has a wait list for Saturday mornings that we are honestly a little proud of.
Best for: dry curly cuts, wavy shapes, big chops

Stylist · Cutting & Styling
Precision bobs, French-girl fringes, and the best blowout in the building. Camille finished her apprenticeship here in 2022 and now runs the Friday evening pre-wedding slots with unnerving calm.
Best for: bobs, fringe, event and bridal styling

Stylist · Cutting
Barbering background, salon hands. Theo does short shapes, tapers, and the sort of grown-out-on-purpose men's cut that does not need a product routine. Also our resident second opinion on anything textured.
Best for: short cuts, tapers, textured hair
Apprentice
June is in the second year of a supervised apprenticeship, working shampoo, gloss and blow-dry services under Priya. Model days are posted in the studio and on the front desk chalkboard, blowouts and glosses at a reduced rate while she trains.
Best for: glosses, blowouts, model days
Tell us what you are after and we will match you with the right chair rather than the next open one. Include a photo or two when you write.
Or call the studio at 469-510-9012.
We do not put a new stylist behind the chair the week they get licensed. Apprentices spend two years assisting, learning our consultation process and colour formulation, and taking model appointments before they take guests of their own.
It makes hiring slow and the studio small. It also means whoever is holding the shears has done that exact service a hundred times in this room.

“I brought in a photo of exactly what I did not want, which is harder to explain than the other way around. Priya spent twenty minutes on the consultation before she touched my hair, and the cut has grown out beautifully for four months.”

“Third salon in two years and the first one that told me my hair could not do what I was asking in one sitting. They mapped out three appointments to get there and it worked. Honesty is worth the drive from Plano.”

“Quiet studio, four chairs, no blaring music, no upselling. Wren does the best curly cut in Oak Cliff and she does it dry, which apparently is the whole secret. I leave calmer than I arrived.”
