How a visit goes

Two-hour windows, and a text when the truck is fifteen minutes out

We do not give you an eight-hour window and hope you stay home from work. Dispatch confirms a two-hour arrival window the day before, and the technician texts before he leaves the previous job.

Shoe covers at the door, drop cloth under the work, and everything hauled off when we leave. If the repair needs a part we do not stock, we tell you the day it will arrive rather than a vague "soon."

Questions

Things people ask before booking

Do you charge extra for nights and weekends?

There is a $75 after-hours fee between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. and on Sundays. Comfort Club members do not pay it. We will always tell you the fee on the phone before we dispatch, never after.

How fast can someone get here in the middle of summer?

During a heat wave we run two emergency trucks past normal hours. Most no-cooling calls placed before noon are handled the same day; the rest go out first thing the next morning with members prioritized.

Will you work on a system another company installed?

Yes. We service every major brand regardless of who put it in, and we will honor a manufacturer parts warranty if the registration is still active.

Should I repair a fifteen-year-old system or replace it?

Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than a third of a new system and the unit is past twelve years, replacement usually wins on cost over three summers. We will show you both numbers and let you decide.

Do you pull permits?

Always, on any equipment change-out in Garland, Rowlett, Sachse and every city we serve. The permit cost is inside the quoted price.

No cooling? We answer the phone at 2 a.m.

Same-day repair slots most weekdays. Emergency crews on call nights, weekends and holidays.
