Dale Fairbanks started with a used truck and a pager. His daughter Nora runs dispatch. The crew has not turned over in six years.
Dale spent eleven years installing commercial rooftop units before he got tired of never meeting the people who used the equipment. In 2004 he bought a high-mileage box van, printed five hundred business cards, and started taking residential calls in his own neighborhood.
Word moved the way it does in Garland, a neighbor tells a neighbor, a realtor tells a client. By 2011 there were three trucks. Today there are six, plus a small shop off Belt Line where we keep parts so a Saturday repair does not have to wait for a Monday supply house.
Nora joined full time in 2016 after a decade in hospital scheduling, which is why our appointment windows are two hours instead of all day. She is usually the voice on the other end of the emergency line.

Owner & lead technician
Thirty-three years in the trade, EPA Universal certified, and still the one who handles most replacement estimates. Ask him about duct static pressure only if you have twenty minutes.
Operations & dispatch
Builds the daily board, answers the 24-hour line, and will call you back when she says she will. Keeps a spreadsheet of every filter size in the service area.
Service manager
Nine years with Riverbend. Handles the tricky diagnostics, intermittent faults, zoning boards, and anything a previous contractor wired creatively.
Install lead
Runs the change-out crew. Sheet metal is his craft; he will re-fabricate a plenum rather than force a new coil into an old box.

Our technicians are paid hourly with a bonus tied to callbacks and reviews, not to sales. That single decision changes everything about the conversation in your hallway, there is no reason for anyone to talk you into equipment you do not need.
We also carry the boring stuff: general liability and workers' comp, a Texas TACLB license, background checks on every hire, and a two-year labor warranty on our own installations.
Talk to usFour hundred–plus reviews across Google and Nextdoor. Here are three we keep on the wall by the dispatch desk.
“Our upstairs unit quit on the first 103° day in July. Dale had a tech at the house before dinner and we had cold air by 8 p.m. He explained the failed capacitor and showed me the old part instead of just handing me a bill.”

“We got three quotes for a full system replacement. Riverbend was not the cheapest but they were the only ones who measured the ductwork and told us the return was undersized. Two summers later the house finally cools evenly.”

“I have been on their twice-a-year maintenance plan for six years. Same two techs every time, they put booties on at the door, and they text a photo of the filter so I know what size to buy. Rare these days.”
