What happens when

Feb – April

Pre-emergent goes down before the crabgrass wakes up. Spring cleanup, bed lines re-cut, first mulch round, sprinkler zones tested. Mowing starts when the grass does, usually the second week of March.

May – August

Weekly mowing at the tallest healthy height so roots stay shaded. Two fertilization rounds, grub watch, and fungus treatment in the shady spots after wet weeks. Colour swapped for heat-tolerant varieties.

Sept – January

Fall feeding to build root reserves, aeration for St. Augustine lawns, leaf removal across several visits, and a winter mulch round. Mowing drops to every other week once growth slows.

Questions

What people ask before signing up

Is there a contract?

No. Monthly plans are month to month with two weeks' notice to cancel. We bill on the first, and the monthly price is the same in July as it is in December even though the visit count changes.

What happens when it rains on my day?

You get a text that morning with your new day, usually within 48 hours. If a week gets rained out entirely we credit the visit rather than double-cut a soggy lawn and rut it.

How short do you cut?

Higher than most companies. Bermuda around two and a half inches, St. Augustine closer to three and a half. Taller grass shades its own roots, holds moisture through August, and crowds out weeds, it is the cheapest lawn treatment there is.

Do I need to be home?

No. We just need gate access and any dogs inside. Crews carry a code list for gate locks if you would rather not leave one open.

Are you insured?

General liability and workers' compensation on every crew member, plus a licensed irrigator on staff for any sprinkler work. We will send certificates before we start if your HOA asks.

Can you work with my HOA's requirements?

Regularly. We service several Rockwall and Heath neighborhoods with landscape standards and keep the plant lists on file so nothing we install triggers a letter.
